…LGBTQ people without reservation or judgment to stand up and fight for the heart of their religion. Nothing in Jesus’s recorded words supports using religion to condemn or hurt minorities. He stood for the opposite. Stories about Jesus in the Bible strongly emphasize loving the stranger and treating everyone with compassion and respect, regardless of ethnicity or religion. I understand that you are trying to be fair and even handed but this statement is demonstrably false. Jesus is full of hate for those who would challenge him. There are numerous passages where he enumerates the tortures that sinners and disbelievers will face. The loving kindness of Jesus is much harder to find in the bible, than the cruel vengeful vitriol he constantly spewed. Jesus was the
